EB-5 New York State, LLC, based in Buffalo, N.Y., achieved a major milestone when the United States Citizenship and Immigration Services (“USCIS”) approved all the I-526 petitions filed by immigrant investors in its project to help finance the Health Sciences Charter School’s acquisition and renovation of its new school building on Ellicott St., in Buffalo.  The EB-5 Immigrant Investor Program is an innovative financing program designed to create new US jobs by encouraging immigrants to invest into job creating projects.

“We are very proud to have been able to help the incredible staff and administration of the Health Sciences Charter School achieve their mission of providing a high school education focused on healthcare to the School’s students, over 65% of whom live in poverty in inner-city Buffalo,” said EB-5 New York State’s President Bill Gresser. “This entire development, however, was made possible by the tremendous energy and generosity of Bill Paladino and his family.”
