“A project of Iskalo Development, Jazzboline soft-opened in late June at 5010 Main St., Amherst, the final product of a more than $6 million endeavor just off the Main Street west exit of the I-290, close to the I-90. The former Sonoma Grille was demolished to accommodate the new restaurant.”
“There’s a new upscale restaurant now open on Main Street in Snyder.
Jazzboline is attached to the Reikart House hotel, and officially opens today at 5 p.m.
According to the Buffalo News, Jazzboline, ‘will seat 168, with the ballroom able to accommodate anywhere from 10 to 200 people for weddings and special events…and 24 taps will be features of the lounge.’”
“With the Reikart House entrenched as an established boutique hotel in Amherst, at 5000 Main St., plans for an adjacent restaurant and event space have now been updated.
Iskalo Development has announced Jazzboline restaurant and the Reikart Ballroom will open in spring 2019, and that Grand Island native Michael Litzel will handle executive chef duties for the Reikart campus.”
Site work for the Jazzboline Restaurant, to be constructed next to the Reikart House, could begin by November 2017 after the Amherst Planning Board approved the site plan and found that the construction would not harm the environment.
“The developer behind the Reikart House, (the 92-room boutique hotel that is the first in New York State to operate as part of Marriott International’s Tribute Portfolio, a network of “upper upscale” independent hotels), and the Hyatt Place hotel on the same campus in Snyder decided months ago to tear down the former Sonoma Grille building and to construct a new restaurant on the site.
Building from scratch on the property allows Iskalo Development to construct a restaurant that makes better use of the available space for the new restaurant, named Jazzboline, said David Chiazza, Iskalo’s executive vice president.”
“An independent boutique hotel is now open for business in Amherst. Iskalo Development, President and CEO, Paul Iskalo unveiled the Reikart House, on Main Street at the I-290, Thursday.”
